Entrepreneurship of the Self The biggest entrepreneurial venture in the world is YOU! People always think of entrepreneurship as a way to make money – a process of investment and profit. There is no investment nor profit without YOU. Everything you do in life has one thing in common – YOU! At the lowest and highest echelons of society, we talk about authenticity and self-determination to improve our situations. It all boils down to YOU! This workshop, therefore, is about YOU! Explore different aspects of yourself as you engage in whatever you are trying to do. Perhaps you are a housewife, a professional, a teenager, a sportswoman, someone who is too comfortable in your comfort zone or trying to come out of it. Whatever your situation or background, this is a great opportunity for you to leverage this inspiring workshop to take the next step in your life. The workshop involves a one-hour-long group presentation and discussion once a month for 6 months. It will be followed by some questions for you to ponder and reflect on throughout the month, along with some inspiring TED Talk videos for you to watch related to the topic. You are also welcome to make one-on-one appointments throughout the month with the presenter to contextualize the learnings from the month for you individually, so that you are more empowered by applying what you have learned in your life. This workshop is free for teens, ages 16 – 19 years. Ages 20 years and older - $100 per session, which includes both the monthly group session and a one-on-one consultation. For those who have been with us before, enjoy a 50% discount on any or all of the sessions this semester. The workshop consists of 6 sessions (one session per month for six months). While we recommend committing to the full program for maximum benefit, participants may choose to sign up per session if they wish to decide month by month whether to continue.
